Returns Policy

If your MONCEAU is not right for you, tell us within 14 days of receiving it. You then have a further 14 days to send it back for a refund or an exchange. No reason is needed.

Trying it on

You are welcome to try the watch on. Please keep the protective films on the case, crystal and caseback, and leave the strap or bracelet unbuckled. This keeps the watch in the condition it left us in.

Condition

To receive a full refund, the watch must be returned:

  • unworn, with all protective films in place
  • in its original presentation box and packaging
  • with its warranty card, papers, spare links or straps, and anything else supplied with it

Every returned watch is inspected under magnification by our team. If we find signs of wear, we will contact you before any deduction is made. You can then accept a reduced refund that reflects the cost of restoring the watch, or ask us to send it back to you at no charge.

If the watch is in perfect condition but the strap has been worn, we will refund the watch in full and deduct only the cost of a replacement strap.

How to return

  1. Email support@monceauwatches.com within 14 days of receipt with your order number.
  2. We will reply within two working days with a fully insured return label or a courier collection.
  3. Pack the watch securely in its original box and outer packaging.
  4. Keep your proof of postage until your refund is confirmed.

Please do not send a watch back without contacting us first. A return sent with our label is insured by us until it arrives.

Refunds and exchanges

Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of the watch reaching us, including any delivery charge you paid. A return shipping charge of £10 for UK orders, or £25 for orders outside the UK, is deducted from the refund. Your bank may take a few further days to show the credit.

If you would prefer a different model, dial or size, we will exchange it once your return is received. Any price difference is charged or refunded, and the return shipping charge applies.

Pre-orders

You can cancel a pre-order at any time before it is dispatched, for a full refund. Once dispatched, the 14-day policy above applies from receipt.

Items that cannot be returned

  • Watches engraved or personalised to your request
  • Straps or accessories that have been worn or fitted
  • Gift cards

Complimentary items supplied with an order should be returned with the watch. If they are not, their retail value is deducted from your refund.

International returns

We arrange international returns by insured courier, and the £25 return shipping charge applies. UK VAT is refunded where it was charged.

Orders outside the UK are shipped without duties prepaid. Import duties and local taxes are payable by you and collected by DHL before delivery. We cannot refund them, but you may be able to reclaim them from your customs authority. If customs duty or taxes are charged to us when a returned watch comes back, they may be deducted from your refund.

If you refuse a delivery to avoid import charges, we will refund the order once the watch is back with us, less a fixed charge of £25 to cover outbound and return shipping.

If something is wrong

If your watch arrives damaged or develops a fault, this is not a return under this policy. Contact support@monceauwatches.com and we will collect it at our cost, then repair, replace or refund it. Your watch is also covered by our 2-year international warranty, which runs from delivery. See our Warranty page.

Your rights

This policy is in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law, which it does not affect.
