Russell Crowe road-tests the Model 01 GTS
Russell Crowe, the Academy® award-winning actor, client and friend of MONCEAU, has been hands-on with the new Model 01 GTS and shared his opinions of the new collection on social media.
While typically preferring larger watches, Russell praised the design of the new GTS collection, the on-trend proportions and the quality of the new FKM rubber strap.
MONCEAU gets a sequel
Having shared some of the early designs and images of Model 01 GTS with Russell during the product development stage, we were keen to show him the results of our labour.
The opportunity recently arose for a catch up with Russell in Venice, where he was presenting his new documentary film What Love Builds at the Venice Film Festival.
Russell frequently talks about his horological hobby and showcases his growing collection on his TikTok account, and this isn't the first time he has talked about MONCEAU on camera – the original Model 01 featured in one of Russell's videos earlier this year.
Naturally we were delighted that he chose to share his thoughts on our latest release with his community.

On the design of the Model 01 GTS, Russell describes it as "a really handsome watch", whilst also commenting on the sandblasted case finish, the quality and feel of the FKM rubber strap, and the automotive-themed inspiration behind Irion Azure's striking blue and orange colour palette.
