More than fifty years after it disappeared during the infamous 'quartz crisis' – a period of change that led to the demise of many Swiss watchmaking ateliers – the MONCEAU name will return in 2025 with the Model 01.

THE MODEL 01
The Model 01 is a beautifully-proportioned and versatile watch that's equally at home whether at the beach or in the boardroom.
Its design takes influence from classic timepieces from the 1970s as well as iconic designs of the modern age.
Its contoured dial is inspired by the sand patterns made by desert winds and retreating tides, whilst solid Swiss Super-Luminova® indices offer superior legibility after dark.
CASE AND BRACELET
With a 39mm case crafted from 316L stainless steel that measures just 8.4mm thick (excluding crystal), the Model 01 is extremely compact and slim.
It offers exceptional comfort and wearability, even on smaller wrists, for true unisex appeal.
Removable end links allow the stainless steel bracelet to be interchanged with a conventional strap (two strap pairings have been specifically designed for
the Model 01), for a more relaxed look.
CONTOURED DIALS
The contoured dials are inspired by the patterns created by wind and water: as seen in the red sand dunes outside Riyadh, the frozen and windswept deserts of the Antarctic or the black volcanic sand of Reynisfjara beach in Iceland.
The solid lume indices are cast from Swiss Super-Luminova® and offer superior legibility after dark.
SWISS MOVEMENT AND SWISS MADE
Powering the Model One is the SW210-1, a Swiss made, hand-winding calibre with 42 hours of power reserve.
The original MONCEAU models produced between the 1950s and 1970s were all powered by hand-winding movements, so it seemed truly fitting to revert to a manual winding calibre for the watch that will mark the relaunch of the brand.
And just like the original MONCEAU watches of bygone eras, the Model 01 will be manufactured and assembled in Switzerland.
